  January 19, 2023 - Overraskende dyp rød i fargen og med noe oransje kant. Flott moden aroma med preg av sur-søt frukt, skogbunn, løv, tobakk, lett parfyme og kaffe. I munn er den pent fyldig med fint integrerte tanniner og syre. God balanse og overraskende fylde i frukten på en 23 år gammel Chianti. God lengde. Mye som tyder på at man drikker Chianti alt for tidlig. Dette var nok en perfekt flaske.

  December 31, 2009 - Very nice wine for the price, bought it in 2004 at a bin end sale. Decanted, very nice aromas, not powerful, very subtle. Flavour of raspberries blackberries. Very long finish. Would buy again.

  February 18, 2007 - Toscana 99 with Vitis Bergensis (Hotel Terminus, Bergen, Norway): Lovely nose. Intense with cherries and wood. A little bit sweet but very nice. Rounder on the palate than the Carmignano 99, the berries are a little bit darker here. This does on the other side not have the intensity of the Carmignano, but it is still a fine wine.

  September 2, 2003 - Sweet vanilla, cocoa, plum and black currant nose. Full-bodied with supple fruit and moderate tannin. Good-length vanilla oak finish.
