November 2, 2023 - Like Kevin (DCWino) wrote, this wine was fairly subtle. Reminded me of Chassagne on the nose, but the palate was more mineral driven and slightly tropical. I thought domestic Chardonnay, but couldn’t place it.
Reveal is 2012 Aubert. Humbling, but awesome experience nonetheless! -

April 14, 2023 - Lemon, Meyer lemon, chalk, light herbal/floral nuances. Palate round and oily, concentrated and leads to a long finish. Still a touch of alcohol, but fullness of the wine moves past it with rounded acidity that just cuts the richness and then freshens the finish. World class.
