February 24, 2023 - The nose on this wine was outrageously lovely as soon as the somm poured a little splash for me to taste, soaring and spicy with the oak beautifully integrated to create a really alluring Burgundy. On the palate the wine was relatively richly fruited, with lots of blackcurrant and more spice, as befits the character of the producer and vintage, with a little hint of forest floor coming through. Lucky to get this for a reasonable price off a list!

February 3, 2023 - It is drinking very well with a mix of red and dark fruit. Enticing on the palate. 91-92

May 3, 2020 - Starting to drink really well. Has a touch of forest floor and some smoked meats to the aroma. There's a core of sweet cherry and the palate is silky with a stony base. It has decent grip to the finish and flavours fan out.

December 2, 2017 - Poured by the Zachy's team at the auction. A very pretty floral nose. On the palate, cherry spice and cinnamon stick - more of a spicy profile than elegant. I liked it but not sure I would seek this out.

October 23, 2017 - Ripe red cherry and berry throughout with slightly sweet spice. Rich start with very good concentration for its level. New oak istill slightly protrudes, and the finish is a little jagged, so I think a few more years in the cellar with smooth everything out.
