April 29, 2014 - Blend of 60% Grenache, 40% Carignan. Taste of dark berries and cassis. Full-bodied wine, silky and warm with medium finish.

January 7, 2014 - “Mixed Bag of Wines from around the World”-Tasting, Flight 2, Wine 2 (non-blind), in January 2014. The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered a rather simple nose of blurry red fruit aromas, coffee, glycerine and a hint of rubber. On the palate the wine showed blurry sweet red and dark berry flavours, glycerine and some chocolate, paired with medium-level acidity, medium-level tannin, some heat from the alcohol and good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine lacked balance and complexity. Disappointing. Drink now.
