  May 20, 2023 - Drank it over 3 hours. Color of a muddy purple haze. Surprisingly still alive and the finish is still there. Earthy barn yard on the nose. Getting a little bit of cigar box after a few hours. Bright acidity and could stand up to a nice rich dish like braised short ribs. Horn if Floral on the front and mid palate, but you gotta really loo for it. Bit of dark fig/fruit on the palate still if you look for it.

  August 28, 2021 - Weekend in Westport; 8/25/2021-8/29/2021 (Westport, CT): This wine continues to really impress me. It's in a perfect drinking window and so it is time to drink these down. Was clearly a favorite of the evening as even with a decent fill it was one of the bottles that finished early. Red velvet and really pretty.

  February 16, 2020 - Surprised at how well this was drinking given the age. We were a bit concerned that it might be over the hill, but actually was nice and kindof silky and touch of red velvet and drinking reasonably well.
