July 1, 2021 - Wow, much better than my last btl and absolutely fulfilling the promise I felt this showed in 2014. On the nose: asian spice, black pepper, ripe pomegranate seed, wild strawberry, and a touch of soft leather. On the palate: lovely black pepper spice and wild strawberry, fantastic acidity, ad lovely density on the spicy and wild strawberry/black raspberry finish.

November 12, 2020 - Very smooth. Light, but with a fruity taste

October 31, 2020 - Pop and pour. On the nose: black raspberry, clove, cinnamon, soft leather, but still very primary. On the palate: excellent acidity, but somewhat monolithc with big cran-raspberry, and chewable vitamin...and not much else. On the finish: very soft tannin showcasing some tannin on a clipped ending...not as good as previous btls.

September 26, 2020 - Paired with dinner of pork pasta at Cedarbrook. Big floral nose, good balance of red and dark fruit on the palate - including pomegranate and rhubarb - with some cinnamon toast and bitter notes on the finish. Still not fully accessible but should get even better in a few years. Drink 2022-2028. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

March 2, 2019 - Smoothing out finally but still not worth the price.
