March 4, 2023 - Clear, medium deep purple, Coating/leggy on the glass, carrying 14.7%. Nose is slightly funky of rotted sweet dark fruits, tar, toast. Medium sweetness, really nice palate of dark fruits, slightly leathery dried fruit, rose, game, medium+ acidity, medium tannin and deep and bold. Nice smooth velvety texture, medium finish bringing lots of fruit and earth. Drinking really great right now, no signs of over age.

February 26, 2023 - Absolutely flawless right now. Great balance, wonderful nose. Great fruit Long finish. Love Dehlinger Syrah’s with some age and this certainly was no exception.

June 21, 2022 - Another great Dehlinger Syrah with age on it. Tom deserves more credit for his syrahs than he gets.

February 23, 2022 - Tom Dehlinger deserves way more credit as an early American Rhône ranger and for the syrahs he turns out that also age well. This was another great bottle with dark fruit, black pepper, some spice, good length and nice mouthfeel.

November 24, 2020 - Dehlinger's 2011 Goldridge Syrah retains a youthful deep ruby robe and flaunts abundant black fruit that is accented with dried herbs, mulling spices, licorice, lavender and ganache. Medium-to-full-bodied, freshly acidic and with well-integrated alcohol (14.7%), it wraps its flavors with medium-weight tannins that are quite supple at this point. Dense on the mid-palate and long on the back end, this is a structured Syrah that is fleshing out nicely. Enjoy it throughout the decade. Drink now-2030.
