January 28, 2023 - We did a side-by-side tasting of a bottle and a Magnum. It was hard to determine any difference between the two.

Both were drinking very well with nice tertiary development, leather clove, tobacco and sweet spice. Chocolate and coffee. The tannins were very well integrated.

December 25, 2022 - Open the first Magnum of the series, after having tasted single bottles. Decanted for an hour, before serving, plum, clove, I am lots of tertiary development medium plus finish with lots of complexity drinking very well now.

December 10, 2022 - Still showing some fruit, drinking very well. Tannins are very smooth and well integrated. Lovely complexity of primary, secondary and tertiary notes, with a long, luscious finish. At its peak, will consume over the next few years.

October 16, 2021 - There seemed to be a fungal nose to this wine that I had not detected in previous bottles. Not sure if it was a one off, or if the bottles have all declined.
