Very savory and alive.
Dark Plums and boysenberry with some nice underlying earth. Meaty note.
Great balance and not overly extracted.

February 13, 2022 - Delightful GSM blend. Fruit on noise, black and purple fruit, plum bluegerry and boysenberry. Smooth tanins, fully mature. Medium long finish that is complex, and pleasant ripe fruit. Long bottle in my cellar.

January 28, 2022 - Absolutely great. Like all Carlisles it has an intoxicating nose, aromas that fill the dining room and just invite you in. Appears so young, still full of fruit, but becoming more elegant than in it's infancy. Lots of black fruits and some boysenberry. Nicely balanced with acidity, the alcohol is completely hidden. Loved this and wish I had more. Last of the 2012 batch for me.
