March 22, 2024 - The vineyard and the maker both leave their mark on this wine. It’s robust, deep scarlet red in colour. Sweet and sour red-black cherry, smoke and earth. Dense and concentrated, not unlike the 2010 but no flowers, rich wine. Needs time, lots of time but will always be rather 4 square 17.25.

June 2, 2023 - Clear burgundy red with bricking. Red cherries, currants, spices and wood on nose. Light-medium bodied palate shows energetic sweet and tart crushed red small fruits, savory spice, medium (+) acidity and a spicy finish that shows some unresolved oak.

April 10, 2022 - Given 2 hours of air in the bottle. Light garnet center with a watery rim. Fennel and other green aromas outcompete black cherry. Medium body, some noticeable wood, herbal edged red fruit, and a raspy finish. This was good but didn't excite.

March 26, 2022 - Day two was much better than day 1, so plenty life left here. Somewhat drying and a timid nose first and very nice red fruit and juiciness second. Unfortunately my last bottle.

April 25, 2021 - Ruby red with lighter rim. Open nose of sweet garden berries, strawberry with some roasted oak. Soft and pleasant palate. On the fruity side. Some pepper and spice. Ripe fruit. Ok lenght. Drink within two years. A pleasant, ripe Beaune.
