June 7, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Medium expressive black fruit driven nose, blackberry jam, black cherry, animal, sap, rose and earth. Excellent concentration, packed black fruit, unctuous, medium acidity, earthy mineral, slightly coarse tannins and a medium to long ripe black fruit driven finish. There is a hint of fizz which is slightly bothersome. This is a big scale wine that lacks finesse.

June 28, 2018 - Very dark on the nose, a smoky and meaty composition of black fruits and black pepper. Tastes similarly. Fills the mouth nicely. Very rustic in style. Early still, will likely get better. Not necessarily what I look for in a Burgundy Pinot, but still a good and relatively interesting wine.

Relativt lett, kjølig frukt, finkornede og tydelige tanniner. Rustikk. Blir hul i frukten etterhvert
