February 22, 2024 - Extremely refined and well-balanced southern Rhône wine (100 percent Grenache) sourced from a small vineyard plot situated at the foot of the mountain range 'Dentelles de Montmirail' (limestone and marl soils). Aged for twelve months in oak barrels (30 % new, 40 % second use, 30 % third use). Deep ruby-red in color with some evolution at the rim and an enticing bouquet displaying scents of sour cherry, kirsch liqueur, licorice and some nuances of leather and cedar wood. The full-bodied and very elegant palate is marked by luscious blackberry and plum fruit, a silky texture, great depth and harmoniously integrated tannins. Complex and persistent aftertaste. The wine is in its optimal drinking window now, and will continue to drink well for another 3-4 years.

September 12, 2023 - Better than the last bottle. Fruit is more prominent, garigue and spice. Elegant.

August 23, 2023 - First bottle of the 2012 Le Poste that we have opened. Tasted after a couple of hours in a decanter. Red fruit, spice and a touch of licorice. Soft and feminine. Very good although less complex than most previous bottles from this producer. Would be surprised to see much upside from here.
