September 14, 2018 - This 15 years old bottle is still alive and may have 5 years ahead. I had it paired with Kimberly and was enjoyable.

July 28, 2016 - A swathe of European 2003s (Chicago, IL): Rive droite rôtie? Roasted fruit, roasted oak. Throw in some roasting from the alcoholic burn too. In the words of Lana Kane, from the animated show Archer, "Nooooooooooooope."

April 28, 2015 - This never really came together over a 2 hr period poured from a decanter. My best description is a light to medium bodied wine that was a bit over extracted with some light tar notes and some sharp red fruit. Not hot or overripe like many 03's, just bland.

March 23, 2015 - Ripe, rich, good concentration, at its peak I believe. Currant, plum, dark cherry flavors, not overripe like some of the 03's.

March 8, 2014 - Nondescript, rather hot, but nice, unobjectionable. Probably should drink up.
