October 18, 2022 - Lifted and elegant bouquet of fresh dark berries, deeply-laced spices, and earthy minerals. Gentle oaking with good phenolic ripeness. Cool climate dark fruits gave me the impression of a cooler climate in Gevrey. Ethereal and very expressive. (92-93/100)🥉
Guess: 2015 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint Jacques

February 3, 2021 - Double-Blind Burgundy Flight: Double-blind in quite a fun 2012 flight alongside DRC RSV and Sylvian Pataille L'Ancestrale. Wines double decanted at 11am and tasted from 5pm to 10pm.

Wow, this was easily the wine of the flight, a beautiful mix of strawberries, cherries, earth, and hints of spice. So beautiful, so deep, yet so light! Knockout wine - count me a Duroche convert.

February 3, 2018 - PoB Wine Dinner with Pierre Duroché (Hong Kong): This wine was really a ballerina of a Latricieres. Elegant, delineated palate, very fragrant nose of animalic, earthy and cherry scents. More feminine but same quality as the 2010. Style wise this wine reminded me of the 2010 Hudelot Noellat CdV or 2011 RSV. Great stuff!
