July 20, 2019 - Great 2011. None of the green pepper notes I was anticipating. Heavy duty dark fruit, cassis, tobacco, and anise. Drinks great now with subdued tannins but could benefit from 2-3 more years.

March 26, 2019 - Aromas of dark fruit, slight tar (think smelling a just grilled steak!). Flavors of dark fruit, currant; very mellow feeling in your mouth; long finish. As I write this I keep thinking that a score of 93 may be too low. This wine has another 5 years easily....happy I have more.

July 6, 2017 - very good, but a little disappointing for the price point...dense, sweet, mellow, balanced...on the sweeter side...blueberry, blackberry, dark fruit, plum...aeration definitely helps here...

January 31, 2017 - This is pretty bad. Almost down right horrible. The finish is astringent and bitter with lots of green notes and bitter tea leaves. I would guess this is a $15 bottle. This vintage should have been dumped down the drain. What a horrible waste of money. I wouldn't take bottles of this if I was offered them for free.
