November 4, 2018 - Clear pale to medium dk brick with a ruby rim, light staining, and medium tears.

Clean. Ripe dk. cherry plum and raspberry. Red and purple flowers, lavender, forest floor, leather, mocha.

On the palate, dark cherry, plum raspberry, forest floor, lavender, mushroom, leather and mocha. Med+ acid, Med tannin, medium + EtoH. Medium finish.

Well balanced and moderately complex. Enjoyable new world wine.

July 5, 2015 - Decanted for 2 hr. Nice soft raspberry & strawberry tastes with a hint of mint. Tastes flattened out in the second half of the bottle.

December 3, 2014 - Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, black cherry, raspberry, bacon fat, with hints of brambles and mint - just keeps giving and giving as it presents something different with every sniff. Palate: Medium bodied, great mouth-feel, spicy dark red fruit attack, nice mid-palate acidic balance, luscious undertones of mint and spice, everything is in harmony. An exceptional wine right now that will likely just get better over the next 2 - 4 years.

April 13, 2014 - A bit darker than your average California Pinot Noir visually but it's completely free of particulates so it carries itself elegantly. The nose is immediately attractive with constituent components individually discernible. Strawberries. Pomegranate. Baked cranberries. A hint of appealing sweetness and a touch of cellar oak in the background. Nice flavor profile on the palate - classic CA Pinot. Silky mouthfeel. 14.1% alcohol. This is attractive now but I'd wait 6-18 months for a more integrated experience. A very desirable California Pinot Noir.
