December 27, 2014 - Big, Baaad, & Beautiful. Small batch Bourbon bbl Imperial Stout (ABV 11.5%). A beautiful, elegant Monster of a near-perfect Imp Stout. Big, complex, with Bourbon bbl not overpowering. Spice, vanilla, roast malt, & coffee. Very rich, but finishes med-dryish, with lingering finish/aftertaste of creamy/dry roasted malt/coffee, & a hint of molasses.
Carries it's ABV without showing hot at all.
Imp Stout just doesn't get too much better than this. Thank You for doin' what you do Garrett Oliver! -
