June 7, 2019 - Inky crimson. Plum, tobacco, and spice nose. Medium bodied, blueberries, pepper, blackberries, dusty tannins, sage, good acid, and a long juicy finish. Hits well above its price range.

March 25, 2019 - A wonderful Argentinean wine. Smooth and flavorful. The legs are medium. The wine looks crimson colored.

June 15, 2018 - Prior bottle was roughly 11 months ago and my notes remain mostly consistent. Black cherry, berries and earth on the nose. More medium bodied this time and noticeably more rounded and integrated. Black cherry upfront with deeper, slightly darker plum behind and blackberries and mixed darker blackfruit towards the back. Tannins are nearly fully integrated now and while still providing good structure, they are very fine grained. This is a round, open, easy to drink and enjoy wine, demonstrating solid balance. As compared to prior bottle, this has lost just a touch of mid-body complexity and also isn't as bright upfront as it was previously. There were fewer vanilla notes this time and the mix of chocolate and light spices on the finish worked quite well. Drink over the next 12-18 months still feels correct.
