  August 20, 2023 - Decanted. Now 2h after decant. Gold/brass color. Nice aromas of ripe and baked apples, herbs, some mild oxidative nuts, hints of cider. Palate w some cider, just ripe and baked gala apples, herbs, minerals, a bit of ginger, some minerals and a bit of ark/burnt caramel Medium body w excellent acids. Nice balance w excellent depth. Nice lingering finish of apples, cider, nuts and herbs. Fresher than last time several months ago w a good dose of character. With more air, both fresh and baked apples come out more along w dark caramel. Lovely and delicious.

  December 29, 2022 - Decanted 1h around 7a then back into bottle. Drank around 7p. Aromas of mild nuts, apples, mild caramel and minerals. Palate with tart apples, bitter pith, a touch of caramel and nuts. Nice acids and depth on a medium body. Lovely for an hour or so. The wine became more nutty and caramel becoming more prominent as the night wore on. Actually more advanced than I would expect for a 10 yr old white burgundy. Not pre-moxed and shot but definitely more advanced. Based on this, will drink my last bottle soon. 91 during that first hour of peak drinking. 87+ at the end of the night.
