Community Tasting Notes 2

  • sunnylea57 Likes this wine: 90 points

August 9, 2020 - 10 years post vintage and this Villages is still in its prime. Drinking beautifully.

  • Vintjener Likes this wine: 87 points

February 26, 2013 - A but more than medium in color.
The nose is also dark. Bramble and cherries. There is a light floral element, that helps lift the wine.
On the palate it is quite dense for a 2010, but still approachable and open.
This is a lovely wine, from a very good winemaker. He makes easy drinking burgundy, which might not be aristocratic, but it sure is fun.
