  • Capt Cutlass Likes this wine: 92 points

November 24, 2015 - Blind tasted and guessed a Jura chardonnay from the oxidized, reductive style. Golden hue. Walnuts and eau de vie aromas. Nutty on the palate too with an oxidized taste - so far not the stuff of 92 points - but there was surprisingly a dash of acidity on the tip of the tongue and more importantly it was singing on the second night, supple and fino-like in a very moreish way and still going strong. First time I have liked a southern French white so much for years.
