January 1, 2024 - Tasted at the annual 2023 New Years Eve Vino Fest in Atlanta. BYOB and guests were encouraged to bring wines with years ending with a 3. No formal notes, just scores. Brad - heavypourwine.com

May 16, 2023 - Excellent wine; the votes had this as closing the drinking window in 2025, but I think this wine is at peak now, suggesting it will drink well to much later, especially if you prefer mature red wines. This is — as expected — a powerful wine, though the years have subdued the fruit to a level of powerful elegance like a double axel in ice skating. Owing to G3 fruit, this has nice acidity that pushes the fruit to purple and red rather than dark and brooding. We decanted and consumed over three hours.

May 20, 2021 - PNP rather than decanted and not ideal for a tough vintage like 2011. Fortunately Howell Mtn. probably best zone that year and there is a fair bit of stuffing here but initially very tight and hard a somewhat herbal. with time the fruit emerges and can't say I would call this a fruit bomb. There definitely was tannic structure and pretty well balanced wine. Pricing is a different issue here but this is a solid wine from tough vintage

May 17, 2021 - Fruit bomb. No secondary flavors or tannic structure remotely commensurate with price.
