December 28, 2015 - Dark ruby red color turning transparent at the rim with a reflective edge. The nose shows some oxidation or aging despite its youth and tightly sealed cork. Getting past that, there are clear notes that are reflective of the vintage - subdued fruit and pronounced earthiness, leathery tones, and hints of tobacco. The palate is full-bodied, dry, and fleshy in texture. Flavors of blackberry, raspberry, black licorice, anise, espresso, and cola. Medium finish with hints of dried herbs. Drink now until 2018.
