    February 14, 2024 - Great Pinot!
Light fragrances; pronounced black-fruit flavors: cassis, plum, and prune; integrated structure, although, tannins are a bit dry. Close to the peak of maturity

January 5, 2024 - Unfortunately it’s past its peak for my pallet. At 15.1% on the bottle it didn’t have enough acidity to balance the alcohol. It isn’t drinking hot yet but it’s lost some of the bright nose and balance I had in my tasting notes from a more youthful bottle in 2018. I also noticed a lot more black tea than previously and the red fruit tasted more concentrated and darker. Still had a very concentrated and sappy mouth feel.

I’m glad it was my last bottle but depending on ones pallet it may continue to impress over a few more years.

December 21, 2023 - Popped and poured. This is singing. Very full nose of red fruit, flowers and spice. The wine is medium bodied, pure and balanced. Morello cherries, black tea, and herbs come through. Delicious flavor with some punch which indicate this still has some time to age. Drinking well now but can give it 5-10 more years.

November 27, 2023 - An excellent wine with notes similar to my last tasting a year ago: Deep ruby red color, notes of raspberry, black cherry, glycerin, hint of cedar and soft integrated tannins. This wine is nicely balanced and has a nice velvety mouthfeel. Paired with seared tuna steaks on the grill.

August 26, 2023 - My last bottle and glad I drink while still a nice pinot, but it was time to put it to rest before it lost it's luster. I would not wait much longer to enjoy this wine. Looking at the community holdings, 48% is still in cellars. It's not worth holding this, drink up and enjoy before you are disappointed.
