Dried apple, dried apricot. Light ginger. Floral, dried flowers. Definitely a bit oxidized but still feels very fresh with some fruit still evident.

I will agree with the other reviewer that this is a bit past its prime and showing some oxidation but it is still definitely acceptable and even enjoyable slightly oxidated style. Nutty, dried cirtus, lemon skin, bruised apple. Some creaminess on the nose. Still good acidity. If this was served blind I am not sure if anyone would pick Portugal. Really distinct, really good.

  June 12, 2016 - Similar to previous TN but seems at its peak now and won't last much longer. A slight but pleasant note of oxidation. Glad this is our last bottle.

  May 14, 2016 - White pulp fruits with a salty lemon component. Waxy character. Nice acidity. Oak is very understated/in the background. Long finish.
