Community Tasting Notes 4

January 23, 2017 - Weekly tasting group RWP #244: The Spanish Box (@ The factory by AH): Floral and perfumed bouquet with red fruits and candy flavors. On the palate red berries as well, candy again, some herbs and spices, ok acidity, friendly tannin and some length. Ok wine, but I am not a great fan.

March 11, 2015 - Very aromatic, red cherries , balsamic, eucalyptus or menthol notes . On the palate more cherries, maybe with a hint of liquor, kirsch, a touch of anis, the oak takes second plane, this is all about the fruit, soft but generous mouthfeel, the only downside being the hit of alcohol on the finish.

April 3, 2014 - A private lunch (Restaurant DiverXo ***, Madrid, Spain): Bright and youthful Garnacha, ripe fruit (cherry, strawberry, peach and pear even), hint of garrigue, cheerful, noce weight but does not suffer from its 14.5% ABV, soft but lively, ripe tannins, pure flavours, good length.
