Community Tasting Notes 7

October 7, 2018 - Nose: fine underbrush. Taste: fresh (mostly red) fruit, with a well integrated, lively acidity. The tannins were almost fully resolved. With no depth and almost no complexity a bit simple wine, but because of the fresh fruit still really ayttractive. When mature notes will come up next one or two years, this wine might well become still more attractive. (87-)88.

March 27, 2017 - Opened one hour before drinking, not decanted. Color: light red, without orange rims. Nose: really nice, with fruit, sous bois and little flowers. Taste: followed the nose. Still some hard tannins, but more mature and integrated than at my last tasting in June 2016. This wine has benefitted from nine moths of keeping. Very nice. To drink with food, less good on its own. At the third day still enjoyable, but also a bit sour. Maybe it will still be better with one more year of cellaring. 88.

June 20, 2016 - Fifth bottle of seven. Nose: fresh cherries. Taste: red cherries. The tannins are still not resolved. This time I’ve got doubts about their ripeness. At the second day more fruit, that was a bit sweet, but with noticeable tannins. Still agreeable, but a bit watery. Less good than last time. I will open the next bottle not before half a year at least. 87-88.

November 3, 2015 - Compared with last time the tannins were more resolved, almost fully now. What struck me in this bottle was the nice fruity freshness in the taste. Maybe also slightly thin. Like always realy nice. 88.

May 14, 2015 - No formal notes. This wine has evaluated well since last year, but still might use half a year, one year of keeping. Quite delicious already. 88-89.
