September 24, 2017 - Deep ruby hue showing a hint of orange at the outermost edge. Flavor inclines toward darker berries, maybe blackberry, with plenty of spice, and some non-fruity notes beginning to emerge: leather? forest floor? Solid q/p ratio. Drink now!

September 11, 2015 - Dinner at Home; 8/1/2015-9/11/2015 (Fremont, CA): Pale ruby-garnet; nose has nice spicy red fruits; palate is light bodied, some red fruit but lacks depth, hollow mid-palate, slight bitterness through the finish; finish is short. Not bad for the price for california pinot. Ready to drink now. 83-84
