March 19, 2021 - PnP. The color was a light violet to a faded rim. Dark red fruits and earth on the nose. The medium to minus bodied palate showed the dark red fruits and earth, along with some spice, a bit of black tea, and just a touch of cola. The acidity was juicy, and outran the fruit by a bit.
Overall, the wine seemed a bit "watered down". Our experience may be a bit better than BrianAkrin's TN, but not as good as several other earlier TNs. Is it simply a case of faded fruit due to age (9+ yrs >vintage), bottle variation, or is this a typical profile?

November 26, 2020 - Couldn't get much pinot, tastes like a light weight CDP. not much depth and a short finish. Drink now

October 10, 2020 - Nicely aged Pinot with black cherries, herbs and some cocoa. Still quite full bodied and a little sweet. I would not keep it to long and drink it over the next 5 years.

April 13, 2020 - Found this bottle in the basement..W scallops and asparagus (the scallops are pure coincidence). This is a beautifully aged pinot. Color is mature nose is balanced and on palate pure joy; fruit spice and length. Very very good! This probably will live another 5 yrs on this plateau. It is yummy!

November 17, 2019 - Enomatic sample. Attractive but generic new world PN nose with spices and red, juicy fruit aromas. Sappy, fruity taste with good acidity and virtually without tannin. Medium plus richness. I can see why people may get divided over this wine (just check out and compare Galloni's notes and scores 93 vs Alan Meadow's 86!) at the same stage. I'm sort of divided over this one myself. Not bad at all but I would have liked some more structure to hit the balance right.
