  April 16, 2020 - Glorious wine. Deep, fruity and satisfying. Drank two years after supposed "drinking period" of 2017-18, and still superb. Would buy again, but Opimian no longer appears to offer.

  January 4, 2020 - Sorry, but I think the other reviewers are way too hard on this wine. I bought a few bottles of the 2010 many years ago and liked it so much I thought it would age well. And I think it has. Still displays a really dark color our of the bottle, no fading as of yet. Admittedly a little high on the oak but a nice 30 minute decant made some of the "heat" fade a bit and brought the fruit front and center. Nice plum, blue fruits, baking spices coming out. Finish is medium length, wine holding up just fine over two hours or so. Nice effort if you like this full bodied style. Not sure how you can complain this is not a good value at $29.

  April 18, 2018 - Big fat inky fruit bomb! Found this in the bargain bin at my local store, was on sale to $15 down from $29. Good value at 15, not so much at 29. Enjoyable, but tons of sediment and nothing spectacular. Drink now.
