  September 20, 2015 - Nose showed reasonably restrained crushed berries. Palate has more tannins than first expected with black raspberry and blackberry. Medium + bodied. Acidity and more tart fruit keeps this fresh even with the 15.1 ABV. There is a stony earthiness here too. The Woodenhead Zins are really starting to grow on me.

  July 17, 2015 - Rich nose of deep berry compote. Bright and jammy through the mid palate. The berry gets a little lost on the peppery finish but still a lovable wine.

  June 19, 2015 - Dark fruit on the nose & fore-palate. Deep dark berry entry which transfers to a mid- palate with a slight fade on the finish.

  June 12, 2015 - Very jammy. Mouth feel is syrupy. Finish is uplifting & soft tannins are evident. Restrained Zinfandel that pairs well with a variety of foods.

  January 13, 2015 - Medium bodied, showing great restrain and excellent balance overall; perhaps just a tad hot on the finish though (@15.1% ABV), especially in the beginning. Medium+ acidity. Started showing more sourness after 60 minutes, but was still drinking well 4 hours later.
