March 18, 2016 - Needs some air. Still fighting coming out of the bottle. Big earthy notes in the nose an subtle cherry with some smoke. Big and somewhat imposing at this point. Currant, cherry, anise and a touch of black pepper. High mid tannins that finish sharp.

August 30, 2014 - The wine is a deep, transparent ruby-purple, with medium legs, lacking sediment. There is a fruit forward aroma with complex notes. It is medium to well rounded, not too structured, tasting like mixes of raspberry, plum and light pepper, with a medium finish, not strong, but balanced on the finish.
