January 20, 2024 - Fully matured Brunello. Fully smooth, not overly complex.

November 23, 2023 - Fresh on the palette pnp. Not a lot of fruit as expected but bright red fruits came through as it sat decanted for the next 2 hours. Paired w Thanksgiving dinner: roast pork loin stuffed w pesto, duxelles and prosciutto with Potato Al Forno, Roasted Brussels w shallots & 3x mushrooms & Pancetta, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire Puddings.
5 hours later it almost has a white grape qualifty to it. V nice, with a little bricking on the edges in the colour. 1 more left of the 09s for me… -

December 24, 2022 - Pale red with bricking out towards the edge. Nose is all leather, mushroom, hoisin and spices. Floral scents emerge 2 hours in. Not much fruit left here, but dried cherry, soft tannins, and some mild acid on the finish. Feels like whatever structure was here has faded. I've come to expect Fuligni to overdeliver, but this one was a bit hollow and lacking. I don't know that time will improve things, but I'll hold the couple of bottles I have left.
