December 28, 2020 - Opened an hour before pour. Bottom of cork broke but we poured through screen rather than decant. Deep dark red color. No old or musty nose. A little hot for a few minutes after pour but settled to lovely wood fruit. Last bottle

November 23, 2015 - This was an unexpected delight to drink. Very little bricking at the edges this wine appeared far younger than it's 22 years of age. Multiple layers of flavors - 1) interesting secondary flavors are in full swing - forest floor, tobacco, coffee, a bit of mint tones 2) Fruit still shining with black currant and blackberry notes. Tannins fully integrated with a dusty mouthfeel

November 11, 2015 - This was so much better than I expected. The wine was very much alive, with a medium garnet color and no orange rim. In the mouth it had good fruit, some menthol, and lovely balance through the finish. It was still alive and enjoyable after 48 hours of sitting in the cellar.

February 24, 2013 - Took some time to open up, but still drinking well. Medium to full body. Dark cherry, old leather, and dusty tannins.

December 26, 2006 - Opened this for Christmas. Decanted 1.5 hours Color showed some brick, but mostly deep jewel tone. Very mellow, drank nicely, but was getting toward the end - glad I opened rather than waiting.
