  March 21, 2018 - Medium to dark purple with solid rim. Cassis and medium cherry with tobacco on the nose. Black cherry with a hint of green tobacco at first. Fine tannins and strong acid support.

  October 8, 2016 - Leather, smoke and acetone on the nose, blackcurrants, cream and a touch of white pepper on the palate. Everso slightly tart finish but the depth of flavour and warmth of the alcohol carry it through nicely. Bought on clearance at Co-op for under £8 but still has some time in hand, although not that much. Worth snapping up at this price for drinking now-ish.

  December 2, 2015 - A very good wine - buy again on offer. Dark bouquet and taste, and long aftertaste. Not very complex, but easy drinking.
