February 24, 2017 - Excellent. Smooth, well-balanced with nice acidity framed by clean Sauvignon fruit. Some bright piquancy, but this wine is very well integrated and not overly sharp as with some SB's. High quality sipper but also very good for food.

June 4, 2016 - Another half bottle. Paired well with white sweet water bass. $11.

March 11, 2016 - Full flavoured Sauvignon Blanc, quite a contrast from the Marlborough style. You definitely get the cat pee aroma (normal for SB). $11 for half bottle.

November 26, 2015 - This paired exceptionally well with our Thanksgiving meal. Similar to previous note, it has an excellent mouth feel and a dry zingy citrus sense that we all enjoyed.

March 16, 2015 - Drank as part of a tasting with my new group. We did four Sauvignon blancs and then four Malbecs. We are working on distinguishing varietals. The other members are all in the industry, importer, sommelier and restauranter so great group to learn from. While the sb's seemed to really revolve around a common core, the Malbecs were all over.

We went through four SB's from Spain, Cali, Loire (Sancerre) and Marlbourough. This of course is the Cali and this one surprised a bit as it almost felt New Zealand. It had the classic note s of gooseberry and grass that define SB but this on carried a hint of Lime and something of a moldy cheese. We felt this one was on the lees a bit which would't surprise out of Cali. It also had a note of petrol or flint or sulphur similar to a German Riesling. That was faint but I felt a bit out Of character. For me, this was okay. Out of the four, I would have ranked it 3rd or 4th.

    6/6/6/6/6 - 80
