A brown, tea like colour and quite cloudy. Not an enjoyable nose. Sweet. Almost hints of coke. Quite sweet and bitter. Clearly well past its prime.
What an experience though. To drink a 47 year wine. Just wish it tasted better! -

Tea color brown very smooth with no tannins
