December 16, 2020 - This sauternes has improved over the last 6 years. The complexity has improved, with orange marmalade, honeysuckle, stone fruit, nuts and spice.

November 26, 2020 - Sweet honey, lychee, pineapple, and apricots on the tongue. Nice botrytis. A very slight wine fault that gives it a bit of brett but otherwise quite nice.
The capsule on this bottle was sticky underneath like it had leaked a bit and the cork was a bit dry. -

Today we have the second of eight Instant Gratification offers to close out 2017. For the remainder of December, all our offers will be for wines that are already in the warehouse and ready for immediate pickup. No need to wait until mid-January; these wines are here, available for pickup during our remaining three pickup days, and looking for happy homes for the holidays. Today’s wine is technically a reoffer, although it has been nearly three years since the original offer, on December 15, 2014. Back then, we offered this dynamite Sauternes for 29.99 (26.99 TPU). Earlier this month, the local importer offered us even better pricing to (finally) close this wine out of the northwest, so we went ahead and purchased every last bottle available in Washington and Oregon.See key for # of bottles currently available.
