  January 18, 2021 - Beautiful nose of cherries and flowers. Fruits start with citrus and move through apple, strawberry and sour cherry. Everything is fresh, and the wine seems to be just starting to rock. Oak presence is absent, or subliminal. This wine was not made to be a heavy hitter, yet it touches the right places.
  Well kept bottles will drink well for at least few more years.

  February 27, 2017 - Medium to dark ruby with raspberry nose. Tart red berry, red currants and getting some watermelon, Fuji apple on the ebb. A bit like a wave of tart fruit and than an ebb of mineral cane tannins. The fruit is soft, but bracketed by prominant acids and tannins. Has a similar quality of red table grapes with a good balance of the initial tartness followed by some mello fruit, than finishes with skin tannins.

  February 2, 2017 - This hasn't moved much in a year. Nice pure red berry fruit with a little splice from the clusters mixed in. Has a nice dry bitter tannic structure that is in balance with the fruit and a crisp of short finish. I'd say drink this now but I'm wondering if the structure doesn't lend its self to 5-8yrs of aging.

  May 18, 2016 - Clean pure red fruits with a little funk and forest notes mixed in. Nice acidity and freshness at this price level with plenty of fruit. Solid QPR.
