August 19, 2023 - Consistent with pevious notes. No rush to drink up.

April 24, 2023 - Stored in a cold cellar since release. Fill just under cork. Good colour still red. Restrained bouquet more red (plum) fruits than black. Well balanced full flavoured good length. Tannins resolved. Rather four square without much complexity. Seems unlikely to improve. Should last for at least five years.

  • ONEFIVE Likes this wine:

November 14, 2021 - Ruby red with a garnet edge.
Lovely red and blue fruit greet the nose. This is very pure and focused. A touch of wet earth and green herbs.
On the palate it’s medium body with moderate acidity and moderate tannin. We’ll balanced physically, but lacking the same intensity of fruit that is on the nose. It’s more tart and red fruited on the palate.
Will probably improve in a few more years as long as the fruit holds on. The tannins need to resolve further. Hold for another 3 before trying again.

October 22, 2021 - Awesome, savoury, five spice, Asian seasoning flavours, plum was the dominant fruit. Not much berry characteristics. Really amazing , still years and years left

  • TS Likes this wine: 91 points

September 5, 2020 - Seems stable. Possibly slightly more lively than previous bottles. Not as concerned about drinking up the remaining bottles. However, it will not improve from this point. Drink up before its 30th anniversary.
