Community Tasting Notes 1

    August 19, 2014 - Served blind.

Dark, yet moderately translucent ruby color. Quite reticent and nondescript nose with faint aromas of raspberry jam, violets and a touch of rosewater. Due to the low intensity of the aromas, alcohol notes push through quite noticeably. The wine feels very sweet, light-bodied and almost juice-like on the palate with sweet and simple flavors of cranberry jucie and raspberry jam. The wine feels almost structureless due to the low acidity and practically nonexistent tannins. The finish is short, sweet and very slightly bitter with flavors of strawberry juice and raspberry jam.

This is pretty horrible stuff. Are there actually people who buy and drink this kind of stuff AND say they like wine?
