  June 27, 2018 - Bottle 101 of 120. Perhaps a tiny bit of bottle variation here. For me, this wine was mostly dark. Poured a dark maroon to the glass. Nose and entry with more of a prune and fig with kind of a green pepper note that showed in the middle. There really didn't seem to be a lot of younger blackberry and this wine is definitely not on the lighter side at all. Towards the finish, there was a little bit of baking spice and some dusty tannin. Medium to full-bodied wine, and I will definitely say that it took this wine about an hour to show some complexity. The structure is here and I can appreciate this wine for what it is. If I had another one of these (and I don't), I'd probably just hold it for 10 years or so and just see what happens.

  March 10, 2017 - Dark garnet with beautiful bricking this is ready for a nice pairing, having an overall softness and elegance with subtle spice aromas and flavors. Uploaded image, bottle #77/120.
