March 5, 2016 - S: turpentine, tobacco T: blackberry, smokey, toasty, black pepper. Was pretty tight until it was decanted for 1/2 hour, then opened up and the fruit started to show more and became much more enjoyable. A dry sort of pungent finish with the tannins kicking in to a long finish.
