December 26, 2016 - Very pleasant...took some time to open. Lovely nose of strawberry, raspberry, curry, carrion, wet forest floor and licorice. Med- to high acidity, and the abv is relatively high. This may age, but may also be as good as it gets. Any which way, enjoyed it. Sehr gut, muss ich sagen!

July 17, 2016 - Rieslings and a couple reds (Ray and Teresa's): Stinky, licorice, lean and funky, tart fruit, pepper. It reminds me of a Loire red. I would not have guessed Pinot Noir. Interesting in its way, although not all that satisfying.

April 17, 2016 - Pours very light. Berries, herbs and a hint of oak on the palate. Med
+ body, Med + acidity. Not overly complex, but a light and refreshing cool climate Pinot that pairs well with food.

January 18, 2016 - Never had a pinot with that much northern-Rhone pepper aroma! very complex nose with relatively simple yet balanced palate. You can tell it is an entry-level work of a masterful wine-maker. great value!

May 24, 2015 - Surprised me! Nice P.N. from Germany -- Not for aging but good for current drinking. Fruit forward, not much tannin, good acid, food wine. Lighter body than CA P.N., more like pre-Parker wines. Screw top.
