February 11, 2021 - Perfectly fine. Tastes like cheap Bordeaux from a good year. I'm going to be an optimist and wait a year to drink my other two bottles, there's a possibility it might be better in 2022. It might also have been better in 2015... Or not

Given how much good wine there is in the world I will not be trying this winery again

January 8, 2020 - Blackberry blueberry red cherry soft tannins great

November 4, 2019 - Day 2: A bit hot with spice, floral, cherry cough syrup and dark chocolate. I have been underwhelmed with this wine back in the spring. This wine is going no where but down. 85 points
Day 3: Nice transformation. Most would have dumped the bottle but not 3 Day Wine Review! Pencil lead, spice, floral, dark chocolate and sour cherries. While not a Rockstar this is drinkable. Medium finish. 88 points
Recommendation: Really not worth the tariff. I paid $30 plus shipping for this and would not recommend this wine. Really not impressed with the wines of Sleight of Hand with some age.

May 30, 2019 - Day 1: A bit flat. Spice, blueberries and coffee. Not the most complex wine and short to medium finish. On the pop and pour not impressive. Will see later how this evolves. 87 points
Day 2: More personality on day 2. Coffee, minerals, spice, roasted meats and dark fruits. Picks up some baking chocolate on the finish. Medium plus with a buttery note. Better. 89 points

December 30, 2018 - Slow oxed but still closed 2 hours later. Will watch it interact with air in the glass rather than average mechanically. Very dark color with a thin red rim. Moderate nose dominated by the Cab Franc. Medium mouth feel. Slightly grippy tannins. Long, somewhat monolithic finish dominated by the Cab Franc. Still pretty young. Lots of fruit. Bitterness is a challenge to enjoyment. Stem and seed tannin? Herbal.
