January 10, 2024 - First of 12. (had a lot of 2008's and 2010's to get through first) Poured through Venturi first night; kept in half decanter for second night. Dark crimson color, with a hint of clear at the edge--so little sign of age. Black raspberry and black cherry with a hint of spice. No sign of the sassafrass that I loved in the 2010. Not too sweet, but certainly not savory or stemmy. Good acidity, so fresh feel. Tannins fully integrated, so this was silky smooth. Only a medium finish, mostly front/roof of mouth. Agree with VinoMe that this seems more California style than Oregon.

March 20, 2022 - Continues to be super impressive. After a decade in the cellar, everything has come together beautifully. Round and fully flavors with perfect balance. A terrific 2012 hitting its stride

May 12, 2020 - Similar to last tasting in 2016 with tolerable, positive aging. Ruby in color, this wine shows cranberry, black cherry and lavender on the nose. The mouth feel is very soft, almost silky like with added elements of cola and subtle smoke. The finish is medium with the bright acidity bringing out the red fruits. 14.1% abv.

Purchased for $45US, this wine continues to improve over time since last tasted in 2016.

October 13, 2018 - Opened at the Granor Farm dinner. 228 cases produced by winemaker Scott Shull. Made from 7 different clones including Mariafeld. Dark crimson color. 14%+ alcohol. Full bodied and thickly textured. More of a California style than Oregon. Notes of blackberry and currants. 88 points.

November 4, 2017 - Pleasant nose. Smooth tanins...great steak wine. Drank alongside 2014 and 2015. Great wine to drink now!
