March 9, 2014 - Quite nice. Could be mistaken for a cool climate Paso Robles or Santa Barbara county Viognier blend. For $10 it's really a wonderful wine with simple chicken or pork or just for sipping. 60/40 Chardonnay/viognier with more character from the flowery/gingery/slightly unctuous Viognier, but also has a round apple pie note from the Chardonnay. Fruit driven and therefore quite luscious at this stage. Not much of a classic structural frame for aging, just exceedingly pleasant!!
