October 1, 2011 - Dinner with Carey at Country Club Grillroom: While it still reflected the hardness of the vintage i thought this bottle was in a great place with a really nice nose, sweet pruney fruit and lots of iron. Not particularly long or deep to be profound and finished with dusty tannins. held up well over 2 hours. given what people say about vogue's wines in the late 70s and 80s i thought this was a pleasant surprise.
