October 25, 2022 - Drinking at peak. This incredible value lets you know it's Nebbiolo. Light bodied but with the iconic Nebbiolo tannic bite on the finish. Licorice notes cement it's Langhe heritage. Slightly hot finish, but for the $$$, it's damned good juice! Drink now, but will last.

May 16, 2021 - This is finally coming around - the tannins are no longer impenetrable, but still very present. A very solid Langhe Nebbiolo that has at least another 5-8 years of solid drinking ahead. Will try to hold off another couple years before my next bottle to see how it develops.

January 21, 2021 - Dark fruit (cherry), strong floral - rose, tannins, good acidity. Finish a bit of tannins. Needs more time. Still enjoyable.

April 18, 2020 - Lacked much depth to the fruit. Sandy, gripping tannins. Slight nose of cherry and dried herbs. Lovely structure but no memorial aromas, none of the perfumes quality we should see with Nebbiolo, even Langhe Nebbiolo. 2012 wasn’t a singing year. I’d try a different vintage again if I found it.
