October 19, 2015 - PnP at refrigerator temperature. Presents as straw yellow with some green highlights. The nose is somewhat unappealing, with piercing, aggressive aromas of peach and petrol with floral overtones. Similarly aggressive on the palate on the attack and through the midpalate. The midpalate sees a change in texture to something more rounded, and the acid is tempered and present only at a medium(-) level. The finish is quite interesting and definitely shows signs of oak maturation, with butterscotch and pear flavors that linger for a while.

Our overall impression of this wine started out poor on the nose and attack, but picked up at the end due to a refined mouthfeel and pleasant finish. "Good," 84/100.
